In order to make EFIS and Immunology Letters more visible among immunologists, EFIS Member Societies are encouraged to apply for the prestigous „efis-IL Lecture Award” for an outstanding European scientist invited from other EFIS-member Societies to their National Meeting. Along with a Medal and a Diploma, 1000 Euros will be offered to the National Societies and 500 Euros to the Awardees, subject to handling the manuscript at the meeting.
Due to high degree of competition, approval of the EFIS-Board should be obtained before official invitation of prospective lecturer. Applications should include the CV and ten most important publications of the speaker.
Applications should be sent to EFIS Secretary General, three months ahead of the National meeting of the EFIS Member Society. Decisions will be made at Board Meetings and up to 10 lectures will be supported/year. This Award will be given only once to the same scientists.
The review of the efis-IL-Lecture will be published in Immunology Letters, and manuscripts should be sent to Editor-in-Chief of Immunology Letters in three months after the date of the National Meeting.
