EFIS-EJI Developing Country Technology Transfer Award

EFIS and the European Journal of Immunology (EJI) have established this award to support immunological research where it is needed most.

We offer up to 1500 Euros to pay a European scientist to do on-site training for one month in a developing country. This training may include the application of new technologies, assays etc. He or she will receive up to 2000 € for the flight. In case it is needed, the award can be extended for another month.

We will also cover up to 1000 Euros a month for reagents, but we strongly encourage the receiving institute to involve companies, in order to get more substantial support.

Proposals will only be accepted from organizations in a developing country. If you are interested or know an organization interested in this award, please prepare or tell them to prepare a proposal and submit it to the EFIS office (hahner@efis.org).
