Latest News

The EFIS Taskforce Education is currently establishing a platform to obtain material on landmark discoveries (e.g., with original publications, commentaries, a discussion platform and presentations for classroom teaching), which should be active by mid of 2025.

In addition, we plan to start our Webinar on Landmark discoveries in Immunology in Spring 2025 and organize a workshop on “How to teach immunology”, possibly during the IUIS International Immunology meeting in Vienna in August 2025.

History of Task Force

The Education Task Force was initially set up to address the regional differences in immunology teaching in medical schools across Europe, with the aim of ensuring a consensus of high quality immunology teaching to be included in curricula across all European medical schools. Since then, the Task Force - which includes members from nine national societies - met online in November 2021 to revisit and reformulate its mission and projects outlined above.
