EFIS
EFIS is a non-profit umbrella organisation that represents 36 European immunology societies. Via funding initiatives and awards, EFIS helps to support immunological research and education and strengthens scientific interaction via study groups, task forces and its triennial congress - the European Congress of Immunology (ECI).

ACTERIA Prizes awarded by EFIS
The Fondation ACTERIA is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 ACTERIA Prizes awarded by EFIS:
- The Doctoral Thesis prize in Immunology is awarded to Olli DUFVA (PhD 2022), Scandinavian Society for Immunology, for his work on the role of T lymphocytes in brain development and their therapeutic potential in neuroinflammation. Download Olli Dufva's biosketch here.
- The Doctoral Thesis prize in Allergology is awarded to Marie TAUBER (PhD 2021), French Society for Immunology, for her work on the interactions between mast cells and blood vessels during inflammation. Download Marie Tauber's biosketch here.
The call for applications for the 2025 ACTERIA Early Career Research Prizes in Immunology and Allergology will open in October 2024.
