EFIS Education Task Force

The Education Task Force was initially set up to address the regional differences in immunology teaching in medical schools across Europe, with the aim of ensuring a consensus of high quality immunology teaching to be included in curricula across all European medical schools. Since then, the Task Force - which includes members from nine national societies - met online in November 2021 to revisit and reformulate its mission and projects. The Task Force agreed to initially pursue three topics: (1) the publication of a book on immunology for adolescent readers, (2) the assessment of the implementation of an EFIS immunology school, and (3) the establishment of a webinar on landmark discoveries in immunology. The Education Task Force will further discuss and finalize its goals during an onsite meeting scheduled to be held in October 2022 in Erlangen (DE).
