European Federation for Immunogenetics (EFI)
EFIS and EFI signed a Meomorandum of Understanding in May 2017 to enhance cooperation on scientific aspects of immunology, immunogenetics and histocompatibility. The two organizations are intent on reciprocally sharing expertise for educational purposes, on increasing mutual recognition and promoting respective activities and initiatives, and on jointly organizing friendship symposia on occasion of the Federations' congresses.
Alliance for Biomedical Research in Europe
The Alliance for Biomedical Research in Europe (BioMed Alliance) is the result of a unique initiative of leading European medical societies that together include more than 400,000 researchers and health professionals. The BioMed Alliance was created in 2010 to gather strength across different disciplines and areas in biomedical and health research at European level.
BD Biosciences
BD Biosciences, a leading provider of flow cytometry solutions and services, has been supporting the ‘EFIS on Tour symposia’ since 2019. These symposia are half-day scientific meetings organised in collaboration with an EFIS affiliated National Society on Friday afternoons prior to the EFIS Board’s traditional Saturday meetings. They feature talks by Board members and speakers from the hosting society.
